Sharon Duncan-Brewster portrays the Imperial Planetologist studying Arrakis. She also serves as the liaison between the Empire and the Fremen. You’ll notice she has the same piercingly blue eyes as the Fremen, a sign of their use of the Spice. She’s the offspring of an off-worlder and a Fremen. (Kynes, it should be noted, was a male character in Frank Herbert’s original book.)Jessica bore him a son, Paul.
