A tsunami warning has been issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency along the coastal regions of Ishikawa, Niigata, and Toyama prefectures. According to the weather agency, tsunami waves of up to 5 meters high are believed to be reaching Noto in Ishikawa Prefecture, as reported by Reuters. As per the NHK report, waves more than 1 meter high have hit the coast of Wajima City in Ishikawa Prefecture.
