Supermax 5: Supermax Meets The Almighty [Full Album] (1981)

SUPERMAX tour as the first mixed-race band through South-Africa. 21 concerts were played by the band, causing total chaos, when Kurt Hauenstein gets caught up in death threats from Apartheid-groups. The tour caused him “No entry” status in some countries and consequently they were black-listed by some political organizations. Upon his return to Europe he recorded this 5th album, playing all the instruments himself on side 1, launched in September 1981 by the single Tonight. Despite the excellent material (particularly the opening track As Long As There Is You), both album and single failed to chart.
