SOT, Giselle, Kempten resident (German): “My boyfriend is standing there, is not allowed to go shopping with me in Kempten at the market square. He has a face mask, as well as myself. I’m standing here, I’m waiting for him, he has the money. He’s there and is not allowed to come over. I don’t understand why. The police officer BY-2111 is not letting him pass, is not showing her ID. I don’t understand it anymore, do we still even have a democracy in Germany?“
According to the latest figures compiled on Saturday by the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Centre, Germany has seen a total of 3,125,793 cases of COVID-19, with 80,466 related deaths.
