I like Akira and I like tracksuits that’s about it ------ Hey everyone, long time no see! I wanted to do a fully story-driven song and PV this time, but man did it turn out to be a challenge! And I guess choosing to work on it during the exams didn’t help hahah I can’t say I like the way it turned out in the end, I had to cut a lot of corners in the process and oof it really shows. I think this is also the first time I’ve ever made a video in full colour? I probably should’ve gone with a restricted palette like I usually do, this one ended up being all over the place. I really hope it’s not too jarring! The art is pretty inconsistent and kinda wonky sometimes, BUT I do have an excuse of having to draw over 100 assets (is that valid? i hope it is;;) Though I do wish I went with a cuter artstyle here ALSO I tried to make the lyrics more straightforward this time and they turned out kinda awkward, but maybe I’m just a slut for metaphorical word salads idk All in all, I’m not super happy with how this animu turned out, but I am glad to be finally done with it! This has been the most difficult pv I had to work with to date and I’m glad I made it. Still, stuff takes an ungodly amount of time, so for now I think I’m going to stick to more stylized videos! Also hey it’s my first vid in 2019 (though the song was made way back in November whoops)!
