Stabbed woman & girl, 8, ran down street in ‘truly shocking attack’ that also left boy, 2, injured

A woman and an eight-year-old girl ran down the street screaming with “blood everywhere“ after a triple stab attack, neighbours have said. A boy, aged two, was also injured after the “shocking“ knife frenzy in East London on Friday evening. A man, in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The three victims, who are believed to be known to each other, were attacked on First Avenue in Dagenham at around . They were rushed to a major trauma centre to receive urgent treatment for stab injuries. Police had previously said the injuries of the woman, in her 30s, and the boy were life threatening.
