Zazu = Leporello, Don Giovanni’s servant
Hyenas = the deamons
BACKSTORY: Don Giovanni has once killed the Commendatore. Then one day Don Giovanni and his servant Leporello find the Commendatore’s statue on a graveyard. Leporello is afraid and nervous. Don Giovanni mocks him by inviting the statue to dinner. Later on Don Giovanni is dining when the statue, alive with the ghost of the dead Commendatore, really appears at his door.
