Unbreakable (2000) - ’Blindsided/The Orange Man’ scene [1080]

Many claimed that M. Night Shyamalan’s second film was an inferior follow-up to his amazing ’The Sixth Sense’, but I think that ’Unbreakable’ is a near perfect film, with an impressive attention to detail and a superb use of colour. It’s a real-life superhero film, and it plays out slowly but beautifully. James Newton Howard, who has written some of his best music for Shyamalan’s films, gave Bruce Willis’ character a heroic theme that builds in grandeur as the film progresses, and a full statement is heard here as he overcomes his main fear - water. The main theme then gets a lush rendition as David Dunn (Willis, although probably a stunt double here) defeats his first foe. Starring Bruce Willis, Robin Wright, Samuel L. Jackson and Spencer Treat Clark; written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan; with music by James Newton Howard.
