Fagradalsfjall volcano erupted on Monday in Grindavik, near Reykjavic after a period of seismic activity in the area, nearly 11 months after its last eruption officially ended. A new fissure opened up from the Fagradalsfjall volcano seismic activity of about 250 meters in length, at the northeast base of the Litli-Hrutur mountain, through which red-hot lava flows into torrents attracting attention from locals and tourists alike, who have been able to witness the mesmerizing display of flowing lava..
