IMI “Galatz“ - Galil DMR/Sniper in NATO

Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! Adopted in 1983, the “Galatz” (a contraction of the Hebrew for Galil Sniper) is a DMR based on the Galil action. It was fitted with a 23” heavy barrel, rear-m mounted bipod, folding stock, cheek riser, and a Nimrod 6x40 scope in a detachable mount offset to the left of the action. Only a very small number came into the US commercially before importation was banned in the late 1980s. Contact: Forgotten Weapons 6281 N. Oracle 36270 Tucson, AZ 85740
