At the 2021 European Youth Championships in Varazdin (CRO), the junior boys team (JBT) of Germany met Poland in their quarterfinals (QF) encounter. Daniel Rinderer had to win the third match to keep Germany going because their team was already trailing 0:2. His opponent was Milosz Redzimski. GER vs POL - 0:3 Kay Stumper vs Maciej Kubik - 2:3 Hannes Hoermann vs Samuel Kulczycki - 1:3 Daniel Rinderer vs Milosz Redzimski - 0:3 This was the end of the German’s Junior Boy’s team’s adventure to the medal rostrum. To be honest: Poland was very strong and even if Kay had won his first match, they still might have lost the overall team match.
