Cyclone Jasper Forecast to Dump Intense Rainfall Across Queensland, Severe Weather Across Australia

The remnants of cyclone Jasper are still producing huge amounts of rainfall, with up to 800mm falling in the past 24 hours around the Cairns and Innisfail area. As the rain eases next week, the remnants of Jasper are expected to move away from the Cape York peninsula where there is a small chance of it re-intensifying into a cyclone. We will also take a look at the severe weather forecast across Australia, with severe storms developing across Queensland. Extreme heat will also extend across much of WA and SA next week, leading up to Christmas.
