The Handley Page indoor flying model

#stephenjonesrcaircraft #indoorflying 1.2 Mtr wing span scratch build foam model of The Handley Page built and flown by Andrew White. Wing construction is primarily 3mm Depron (B&Q sheet) curved to shape in the oven. 120 degrees for 5 minutes, sandwiched between thin alloy sheets. Fuselage is Vector Board skins over a depron framework. 1/8“ Balsa spars, minor fuselage reinforcement and 3 metres of aerofoil shaped interplane struts. Power is 2 x 5g 2s BL motors driven by linked ESCs (These were supplied by MicronRadioControl). A single Lipo 800 2s powers an old Horizon Hobby UMX Rx and both motors.
