Hello guys, welcome to a new video on this channel. Today we’re testing an Intel Core i3 4150, 8GB of RAM, and a Zotac NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in 24 games. The performance has been surprisingly well considering this dual-core CPU of 2014. A lot of the tested games have been pretty well playable. Only Cyberpunk and PUBG Mobile have been really struggling hard. I’d say Cyberpunk is still playable but PUBG Mobile had so many stutters due to the overstrained CPU that I’d call it unplayable. However, in some titles, you can clearly see that the i3 is becoming a heavy bottleneck. In this scenario, the games are still playable but the GTX 1050Ti is getting hold back. This has been the case in nearly all tested titles but especially in Warzone, Apex Legends, and Cyberpunk, like mentioned before. Also emulating Android games is some kind of a double edge sword. Demanding titles like PUBG Mobile don’t run properly but less demanding titles like Garena FreeFire have been running fine. In conclusion am I able to recommend this system for casual gaming in 2021? Yes to some extent. The i3 4150 performed way better than the AMD Athlon X4 845 that I was testing in a previous video. Have a look at this benchmark if you haven’t seen it already. However, I can’t recommend the i3 4150 for any upcoming titles. Because they’ll probably be screaming for more than 2 cores 4 threads. I can still recommend the GTX 1050 Ti. It’s a solid GPU and is able to run every title of 2021 without any problems. Even Cyberpunk 2077 would run way better combining the GTX 1050 Ti with a Core i3 10100 and 16GB of RAM for example. So a Core i3 10100, 16GB RAM, and the GTX 1050 Ti is a system that I’d recommend for gaming in 2021 instead of the Core i3 4150. Thanks a lot for listening to my voiceover. If you’re still using a Core i3 4150 there’s still some life in it. I hope you liked this video. Leave a like and subscribe to this channel if you haven’t done so already.
