It basically means that an artist or band is going it alone, without the help of a big record label. In other words, independent aka indie musician/indie artist. It seems like YouTube is still shadow-banning our content. It might sound like we’re exaggerating, but the truth is that our channel’s performance has taken a nosedive, with 99% of our views gone. A few weeks ago, we saw a glimmer of hope when one of our old videos suddenly received a ton of views, around 10 times our usual amount. But just as quickly, YouTube turned off the tap again, and we started losing views once more.
