Nurburgring 1000km Race start from 30th to 11th, Opel Kadett!

Jump onboard with myself Adam Chiristodoulou for the start of the Classic Nurburgring 1000km, inside Prosport Classics Opel Kadett. Chris Esser from Prosport Classics was kind enough to invite myself and a few other to join them for a race at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, but this time it wasn’t in anything modern like their usual Porsche or Aston martins, it was in Chris’ own 1978 Group 4 Opel Kadett, The plan was also to race in the 1986 240 Turbo Volvo, otherwise known as the Turbo Brick, but unfortunately the turbo blew the turbo bolts off the engine causing some pretty impressive flames out the exhaust on lap one which you will see me overtake in the Piff-Paff section of the Nordschliefe. The Opel Kadett was a real eye opener, we only had one lap each to customise ourselves to the car in qualifying hence going quite a bit faster in the few laps in the race, I think we managed a sub 10 minute lap which for something 43 years old was pretty impressive.
