LIMA Langkawi 2023 | Airshow Dispatches S06E02

The Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition returned for the first time since 2019, hosting five national aerobatic teams: August 1st, Al Fursan, the Jupiter Aerobatic Team, the Russian Knights and the Black Eagles. The Royal Malaysian Air Force provided their ever-popular F/A-18D Hornet and Su-30MKM solo displays, but the star of the show was their ’Opening Gambit’ performance, featuring over 30 jets, helicopters and transports in a tightly-choreographed eight minute performance.
