Originally of Serbian and Croatian descent, she spent her formative years living in London, Baghdad, Prague, Frankfurt, and New York. She now resides in Los Angeles. Natasha studied molecular biology before being forced to flee from Serbia during the war. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Business in Prague and went on to study Fashion Marketing at FIT in New York. Soon after she had her own independent fashion eco-friendly company in 2008. After the birth of her son, Natasha started developing a project to bring healthier swimwear to the market. She was determined to create a product that was better for the body and for nature. The idea came to her while summering at her family home on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Inspired by the hemp ropes used by traditional fishermen, Natasha realized hemp was a viable natural fiber for making swimwear.
