Erin-Go-Bragh - Traditional Scottish folk song (Jamie Marshall busking)

A traditional Scottish song from the 19th century that tells the story of a Highland Scot who is mistaken for an Irishman by an unfriendly Edinburgh police officer. The lyrics in this version are based on Dick Gaughan’s arrangement from his 1981 album “A Handful of Earth“. This version was recorded in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, June 2019.
