Sweden fumes as Putin’s ally Hungary ‘holds’ EU member’s NATO bid | ‘Russia Influencing…’

A statement by Russian embassy has left Sweden fuming after Hungary put the NATO bid of the European Union member on hold. President Vladimir Putin’s ally ratified Finland’s application, but expressed doubts about Sweden. PM Viktor Orban’s spokesperson lamented several grievances with Sweden and justified Hungary’s decision. Sweden on its part summoned Russian envoy, claiming that it was trying to influence decision on its NATO membership. Russian Ambassador Viktor Tatarintsev had said, “After their accession, the total length of the borders between Russia and NATO will almost double.
