Etna exploded! Black stones cover Sicily!

Mount Etna erupted on the island of Sicily last Sunday. The height of the ash column was about 2500 meters. The eruption covered Catania and a number of towns near the volcano with ash. The size of the lapilli reached 6 centimeters. Ashes could be seen on the windshields of cars and on the roads. The operation of Catania International Airport was also suspended.
