The Čučuk oro is as the other northern Macedonian dances like Crnogorka, Potrcano, Baba Gjurgja and Krstackata a typycally fast-paced, with energetic movements, usually performed at gatherings as seen in this scene from the first Macedonian movie from 1952 “Frosina“. The movie is about the battle of the ethnic Macedonian partisans for the liberation of Macedonia which was particularly under bulgarian faschistic rule.
