As many as 300 revellers in fetish costumes boarded the ’Torture Ship’ in Friedrichshafen, southern Germany, on Saturday to celebrate the 25th edition of the kinky floating party. Crowds watched as fetishists paraded to the boat wearing their latex costumes before the MS Baden sailed off on Lake Constance. Torture Ship organiser Thomas Siegmund stated that due to coronavirus guidelines, there has been no show on the pier this year, pointing out that the attendee’s number used to be twice as much. “No mask has to be worn. But if someone wants to put on a gas mask, that’s part of the party,“ he said. Revellers had to show proof of COVID recovery, a vaccination certificate or a negative test to join the party.
