Diplomatic standoff as Russian squats near Parliament House in Canberra

A Russian diplomat is illegally squatting on a Canberra site near Parliament House, smoking cigarettes and even receiving food deliveries after the new Russian embassy’s lease was terminated. The Australian Federal Police are monitoring the squatter however they cannot arrest him due to the protection of diplomatic immunity.
