Coraki, (Road Trip)Northern New South Wales, Australia

The Coraki Hotel opened for business in 1892. This historic town was a major inland port with four wharf by 1886 North Coast Steam Navigation Company had established its head office at Coraki, The first municipal council was formed in 1891, local School of Arts was opened in the 1893, first Coraki show was held in 1896, and the town’s butter factory was opened in 1898 this town was dripping in cash and spending it on buildings reported up to seven hotels but only one trading is the Coraki Hotel, there are only two others I can see closed in town. The town has history and worth a visit, the river is explorable along with the old home within the town and some of the surrounding farms with a bowls club and golf club caravan park National parks and a cold beer and a counter meal at the Coraki Hotel
