Ivanovo-based paratroopers destroy armoured vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest plantations north of Artyomovsk ’Winged infantry’ making up small assault groups imperceptibly approached the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from several directions, where, according to intelligence, one of the Ukrainian units was preparing to move towards Russian defensive positions. Russian paratroopers rapidly attacked the enemy. During the battle, the paratroopers were able to capture and destroy one BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle and one Western-made light tank. Then our units entrenched in the positions of the hastily retreating enemy. When the Ukrainian militants tried to counterattack, a fire support group of the Ivanovo paratroopers engaged in fighting against them and turned the enemy to flight with fire of the AGS-17 Plamya automatic grenade launcher.
