The Little Brown Bulb - Waldorf puppet shows for socially isolated families during Covid 19

A Waldorf-inspired table puppet show. Garden- and woodland friends help the little brown bulb to grow. While screen time, especially for smaller children, is not the most desired form of engaging them, in these unprecedented times I feel we must look after each other and send our gifts into the outside world via the means we have available. A few recommendations before you start: Set a time when your children can watch. Make sure you have an activity planned for afterwards, this eases the transition from “screen time has finished“ to whatever is next. Get your children to help prepare this activity beforehand; put their coats and shoes out if you are going outside, set up the crayons and paper if you want to draw, lay out the memory if you have a game etc. This way the next step after the screen is clear. Be consistent in your approach, and stick to the amount of screen time you initially set. That way things can be an enjoyable experience for all the family. Please feel free to take inspiration and create your own puppet shows with the things you have at home, toys, cloths, songs you and your children like.
