Marine Jihad 2.0, the conquest of Europe by irregular, seaborne forces

The subjugation of Christian Europe was long an ambition of the leaders of Islam. Since the Ottomans were drive back from the gates of Vienna in 1683, it sometimes appears that this aim has been abandoned. It may not be so and it is possible that we are now witnessing a revival of the concept of the ’marine jihad’.
