Moleskine Maira Kalman notebook @ Detour exhibition, London

Maria Kalman was born in Tel Aviv. She is the author/illustrator of 10 children’s books including the celebrated series about Max Stravinsky, the poet dog who travels around the world. She was commissioned to do a series of murals housed in Grand Central Terminal during its historic renovation. She is a contributor to the NewYorker, the New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, and has designed fabrics for Isaac Mizrahi and mannequins for Ralph Pucci.
