Rollo, Earl & Carole (1939)

No titles. Roller-skating act Rollo, Earl and Carole. Pathe Studio, London. Comedian Ronald Frankau introduces the act. Two men and a girl perform various daring feats on roller skates. They spin on a stage set. While the girl is spun around the commentator says, “He holds her ankles, while you hold your breath“. Slow motion shot of the stunt. Then the two men perform various acrobatic stunts. Includes slow motion of the various stunts. In “the high spot of the act...“ the girl’s foot is strapped to the belt of one of the men and she is whirled around at high speed. In the finale, the girl wraps herself around the torso of one of the men while he spins around, spinning the other man around by his hand and foot! Ronald Frankau appears briefly and starts to introduce the next act, Teddy Brown. Due to lack of paperwork, not able to confirm which Pathetone this originates from - could be PT 460.
