Casio FP-200 & FP-1021FD1 - Episode 1

Before the trio of NEC PC-8201A, Tandy Model 100, and the more advanced Olivetti M10 (all 3 built from the Kyocera KC85 layouts) CASIO produced their Handheld Computer, the FB-200 based on an Intel 8085 clone. It came with 8KB Ram but could be expanded to 32 KB Ram. Among the many expansion possibilities were an external Floppy Disk Drive Unit FP-2021FD1 a single-sided, single-density 5 1/4“ floppy disk drive with a capacity of 70 KB In this first episode, we will test the power supplies for both the computer and the floppy disk drive FP-1021 FD 1 before we can turn on the system. We shall also open the units up and clean them all. #CASIO #FP200 #FP1021FD #OlivettiM10 #TandyModel100 #NecPX8201A #KyoceraKC85
