This video was among the 12 best of the Sören Sieg Music Video Competition 2021! Jitka and Martina explain: “The duo Jitka Konečná and Martina Komínková met together for the first time on Friday, September 17, and on Saturday, September 18, they shot this video clip. Both recorder players like to play Sören Sieg’s compositions. Jitka made videos for the Circle songs and Martina played many chamber songs with her students. Because we both have a close relationship with Sören Sieg’s music and each of us plays his pieces very often, we definitely wanted to take part in the competition. And why did we want to create a duo? We are colleagues and we meet at lectures and other occasions and mainly online. We wanted to meet live and demonstrate our long-standing friendship with this video. It already seemed that we would not find a common space in our busy diaries. But in the end it worked. At the last minute we managed to shoot a video and we really enj
