[Former WR] 48 Tracks Speedrun in 1:08:58 (200cc, Items)

Leaderboard: 1:08: IGT (in-game time, i.e., time without loads) 1:28: RTA (real-time attack) What a run. Nitro, Retro, 32 tracks, and 48 tracks WRs all in one, not to mention landmark subs in both IGT and RTA! If Bonus was less horrible I would be satisfied with this run forever; as it stands I still don’t see myself returning to this category for a very, very long time. Full list of crazy things this run accomplished: - 48 Tracks WR by 30 seconds (first sub-1:09 IGT and first sub-1:29 RTA) - Nitro Tracks WR by 21 seconds (first sub-24 IGT) - Retro Tracks WR by 19 seconds - 32 Tracks WR by 16 seconds (second sub-hour RTA) Note: I’ve been struggling a little with stick drift on my controller, and it strikes at 18:58 and forces me to watch the highlight reel. It definitely wasn’t intentional, but thankfully (?) it’s happened before so I knew how to exit out of it quickly :P Note note: I tried to clean the controller the day before this run to eliminate the drift, and not only did it not work (as evidenced by note above), but it also seems to have broken the motion controls, which is why I just can’t trick on some random ramps, most notably on TR. Time for a new controller? :)
