Combustion is created when 8mm AC Delco Premium Silicone wires bump Morel roller rockers, Morel pushrods and Morel lifters. A steady amalgamation of oxygen and fossils is provided by a K&N air filter, a 70mm Accufab throttle body, a ported and matched intake, Alkycontrol Methanol Injection and 60# fuel injectors. And coated headers, a PTE high-flow intercooler, fabricated air tubes and a TA Performance oil pump keep everything lucid and cool. All those carefully calculated improvements are, with the help of a TurboTweak chip, good for a universally impressive 550 dyno-proven rear wheel horsepower. And items like ARP bolts, ARP studs, Cometic gaskets, coated engine bearings and a Cloyes roller timing set ensure everything works in unison to provide invigorating and equally terrifying acceleration. DRIVETRAIN Behind that raucous engine, a custom-programmed Four C’s automatic transmission makes good use of a SCAT flywheel, a 3,500 RPM non-lockup stall and 200R4 billet internals. That gearbox twists torque through a billet yoke, a heavy duty driveshaft, heavy duty U-joints and a proven Currie 9-inch, which is fitted with beefy, gears. Factory power steering rides between QA1 Street Control Arms and adjustable QA1 coil-over-shocks. Out back, adjustable QA1 trailing arms compress two more QA1 coil-over-shocks. Power-assisted stops are provided by a combination of big Wilwood calipers, drilled and slotted rotors and 11-inch GM drums. Charred dinosaurs float in to rowdy Pypes Race Pro mufflers. And power meets pavement through Budnik X-Series Grand National wheels, which spin 225/45ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sports in front of 275/40R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials.
