Also known as the Tasmanian Wolf or Tasmanian Tiger, the Thylacine has always been an example of the damage that humans have wrought on the Natural world. Recently alive enough for video footage, photographs and pelts to still exist, I am happy that in this CollectA model, I have at least one representative of this beautiful little animal. Sculpted very finely with fur detail and a paint application that puts many of their dinosaurs to shame, this is an example of what could be done even at this small scale. This Thylacine is brought to life, and is also shown to have brought a life into the world – a little joey in its pouch.
