IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR GOLDEN TREZZINI AWARDS NOMINEES: HOW TO CLAIM YOUR CERTIFICATE If you have not yet received your 2023 Certificate, worry not! We haven’t forgotten about you. Simply request an electronic certificate (a PDF file ready for print) by sending an email to us. Claiming your certificate is both easy and free of charge! Just include the following information in your email: • The name of your project • The level of Certificate you are applying for (according to the 2023 Laureates page) Send your request to our email address: goldtrezzini@. Check the 2023 Laureates section of the main menu for details on your project(s): The Golden Trezzini Awards recognize outstanding contributions to architecture as art. This prestigious global competition is open to architects, restorers, interior designers, set designers, exhibition specialists, and sculptors. Winning works become a part of the State Museum’s permanent collection. Annually, the Awards Committee hosts an exhibition titled “Architecture as Art“ at the St. Peter and Paul Fortress, showcasing the winning projects from the previous year. The works of the winners are also incorporated into the State Museum of History of St. Petersburg’s collection. Since its inception in 2018, the Golden Trezzini Awards have grown in significance. In 2023, the Awards Committee received an impressive 1,229 entries from 72 countries, with over 200 experts from 32 countries invited to select the winners. A total of 22 projects from 10 countries emerged as the best, representing Belgium, Brazil, India, Italy, China, Russia, the USA, Taiwan, Tanzania, and Finland. The Award Ceremony is an annual highlight, held at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Winners in the main categories receive gilded figurines of Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg, along with commemorative certificates. For overseas winners, the prizes are delivered by mail. Submissions for the 7th Golden Trezzini Awards will open in February 2024, and the application will always remain free of charge.
