Ukraine’s 28th Brigade repel Russian assaults on Chasiv Yar

Ukraine’s 28th Brigade stopped Russian attacks on Chasiv Yar. Intense footage shows battles with Putin’s troops near the city. First-person video reveals a gun battle in the forest. The troops fall back to their base as drones spot the Russians. They then use grenade launchers and rockets to strike them. Drones drop smoke grenades on the Russian dugouts so they can be targeted by artillery. But the Russian also make use of their artillery guns. More first-person video shows the Ukrainians getting struck. Shells narrowly miss the soldiers as they dive for cover. Chasiv Yar is in the midst of some intense fighting. The city is located west of Bakhmut, on strategic high ground. It is a key stepping stone on the road to Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, which are the two remaining cities in Donetsk the Russians don’t control.
