Please read my words before watching this video.
Dear people.
I want to tell you something about this video.
I put it online here 9 years ago, and I read your comments every day.
Every day people see this video, because every day someone has this physical examination in front of them
and searches for information here on youtube.
I can only tell you about my personal experience and my emotions!
The topic MRI has always been associated with claustrophobia, horror and fear.
I had a brain MRI in February 2011 here in Germany - I was 31 years old at this time.
I was also insecure.
Will I panic in the tube?
Will it be unbearable (loud)?
What can happen?
I quickly put these fears aside and tried to approach it as unbiased as possible.
Of course, my heart was beating like crazy at the beginning of the examination, but I soon realized,
that nothing else would happen except the noises. That I would feel nothing.
And also that there is no reason for panic.
A nurse manually pushed me into the device and said that at any time
she is ready to get me out again. But at no time that was necessary.
I also had a security button in my hand.
So I lay quietly in the tube for 15 minutes and listened to the sounds.
These are not bad, not hurtful... You do not feel any vibration...
Nothing but the sounds.
You will also be offered headphones to muffle the noises.
So many people watch this video full of uncertainty and fear about what is to come.
I want to tell you from my experience, do not be afraid!
It is very easy to bear and to overcome.
That is why I made this “video“ - to take away your fear.
It is nothing more than lying down and listening to these sounds.
If you have fears about the upcoming examination, I ask you to do the following:
Play this video and turn up the volume.
Now lie very still and straight on your bed or sofa.
Put your arms to your side and face up.
Close your eyes and lie still for the duration of this video. Breathe calmly.
When the video is over, you have done it.
Just as easily you will pass the examination.
I wish you much rest for the examination.
But what is even more important: I wish you health and that the examination brings a good result.
Best regards
Seb
