CASSOWARY are a genus of large flightless birds found in northeastern Australia and the island of New Guinea.
In the wild, these creatures are not well studied: researchers note that cazuars live between 12 and 19 years, but no exact figures are available.
Cazoars are known as the largest birds in Australia. And the second largest bird in the world after the ostrich.
Adult cazoars weigh around 60 kg. and range in height from 1.5 to 2 metres. Female casuars are much larger than the males.
