Fiddle Leaf Fig in Easyplant’s Selfwatering Planter

Introducing my newest addition: the Fiddle Leaf Fig tree from @easyplant ! This marks another step beyond my LECA Kratky semi-hydroponics comfort zone, as I venture into the realm of a self-watering setup with soil. While it may not be groundbreaking for others, it’s a fresh and exciting experience for me, as LECA has predominantly been my substrate of choice. Easyplant’s free shipping and careful packaging ensured that the FLF arrived in excellent condition. The three stems were delicately secured to a bamboo pole, but I decided to free them, allowing the leaves to unfurl and breathe. A few leaves have dropped, which is common as the FLF adjusts to its new environment, and I anticipate more in the coming days. The beauty of a self-watering setup is that I no longer have to worry about meticulously moving the plant around for thorough watering. It simplifies my routine and provides a sense of ease. I will keep you updated on the progress of this FLF journey, and as always, feel free to ask any questions. Drop them below or DM me—I’m here to assist you every step of the way. VIVA!
