CanBIO MacPAM glider at La Palma | Loro Parque Fundación

The start of a journey that will allow us to get to know cetaceans better! Within the framework of CanBio’s MacPAM subproject, co-financed by Loro Parque Fundación, an autonomous vehicle will travel the waters of our archipelago to gather information about these animals. This device has a recording system that allows it to record sounds in a wide range of frequencies. The data collected by the glider will make it possible to draw up a “map of cetaceans“ in Macaronesia.
