Youmu’s Journey: Trying to Buy Ice Cream For Yuyuko [東方 Touhou - Sprite Animation]

This is the beginning of an adventure in which Youmu Konpaku must complete a very important quest granted by her mistress Yuyuko: get a very precious ice cream. So, to fulfill this task, Youmu goes to the only human village and starts looking for a stand of such frozen snack. Once found, everything seemed to indicate that the mission was going to end, surprisingly easily and quickly. But then, the lady at the stall, Hika, looking quite restless, mentions that she has not been able to make her ice cream due to a complication. Therefore, Konpaku is willing to contribute assistance to solve this problem. ----------------------------------------------------------- As seen in the video, the theme of the entire video was to look like an RPG game, taking the rather typical ideas of these games and make the funny for the video. At first, it was intended that the main character for this would be Reimu and the story would be very different. But after tweaking different ideas, I felt that Youmu would be a better choice, just thinking that she already carries a sword (2 in fact) and for any RPG game, that’s essential. It’s the first time I use unique sprites made by me, the human villagers, Reisen in that outfit, Joon in the background... even most of Youmu’s sprites are edited cuz in the original SWR prites, she is constantly in an offensive position, making it difficult for her to seem natural in a different situation. how do they look? ohh on side note.. during the process of this video, the project crashed more than 20 times :D I hope you liked it!
