AMD TressFX Demo - Tomb Raider Benchmark

A first look at the new DX11 feature TressFX, which was designed by AMD. This uses the benchmark utility in Tomb Raider. Both halves use the same “max“ settings, save for the hair. The right side is the new TressFX, and the left side is the traditional “Normal“ setting. There is some work to be done with the TressFX shadows and collision detection, but the new hair algorithm is very lifelike - and very cool.
