The HORRIFIC Executions at Babi Yar. Holocaust in Ukraine

The Nazi occupation of Ukraine began in 1941 as part of Operation Barbarossa, Hitler’s invasion of the Soviet Union. The region was quickly engulfed in chaos, and the Jews and other minority groups faced systematic persecution. The Holocaust, an unparalleled genocide orchestrated by the Nazi regime, took center stage, targeting innocent lives with unimaginable brutality. The Jewish population in Ukraine, which numbered over 1.5 million before the war, became a prime target of the Nazi’s genocidal policies. The Nazis viewed Jews as racially inferior and an existential threat to their ideology. As a result, they implemented a sinister plan to systematically annihilate the Jewish population and other perceived enemies of the Third Reich.
