Gudsforladt - Friendship, Love and War (full album, 2022)

I am very proud to present the new full album from Gudsforladt, titled Friendship, Love and War, in a video with each track illustrated by a different photo from an extensive set included in the album download files. The album is a grand epic, 11-track concept story of myth and legend with a narrative as dramatic, and detailed as the music; raising the hairs on your neck with soaring pasages of emothve melody, galloping rhythms giant-crushing riffs, shaded and tempered with melancholy and wistful passages that give our protagonist chance to reflect and recuperate between encounters. This is an album on the same scale as the symphonic power metal majesty of Stormkeep’s Tales of Othertime album from last year, albeit one hewn from a rawer, more earthy element. The album is released in digital format today by Gudsforladt, and will be available to order in physical formats from 9th September through Night of the Palemoon and NotKvlt.
