Our friend Toby Chappell returns to the show to discuss his new book, Infernal Geometry and the Left-Hand Path. The formation of the Law of the Trapezoid and the early days of the Church of Satan. The significance of H.P. Lovecraft Toby is an author and lecturer presently living in Atlanta, GA. His interests include ’weird tales’ (H.P. Lovecraft, et al.), semiotics, the Left Hand Path from a Setian perspective, and the runes and other aspects of the Northern Tradition. His latest book is Infernal Geometry and the Left-Hand Path: The Magical System of the Nine Angles (Inner Traditions, 2019). Infernal Geometry... discusses the history and development of the unique practice called angular magic in the early Church of Satan and the Temple of Set. Angular magic takes the “strange angles“ of H. P. Lovecraft’s fiction, the number mysticism of Pythagoras, the photograph composition theories of William Mortensen, and Anton LaVey’s Law of the Trapezoid, and combines them into a coheren
