The premiere performances took place at the Mariinsky-II on 11 and 14 July. The project was conceived as part of Valery Gergiev’s plan for a Year of Stravinsky at the Mariinsky Theatre. New performances will take place on September 29 and 30: The first to stage all three works as part of Diaghilev’s “Saisons russes“ was Bronislava Nijinska.
