Anvil Province Cyrodiil

Note: This is a developmental build of the city of Anvil, the city is still a work-in-progress and is subject to change. The shining jewel of the Abecean Sea, one of the largest port cities in Cyrodiil, and the largest city in the Gold Coast, Anvil is a coastal metropolis where travelers and merchants flock from all over Tamriel to buy and sell wares, with ships arriving daily from ports across the Abecean Sea, coming from Valenwood, Hammerfell, High Rock, and even the Summerset Isles. Home to bustling markets and ever-crowded docks, the glimmering towers of Anvil act as a beacon for Imperial civilization, and invite a sense of majesty and awe as one first approaches this truly magnificent city on the sea. While the city is primarily a hub for trade and commerce, it’s also home to a number of guilds, manors, shrines, and temples such as the famed Temple of Dibella. But standing above it all is Castle Umbranox, a constant and permanent sight in the Anvil city skyline that can be seen from all parts of the city, and just one of Anvil’s many fortifications. On the north side of the city, Fort Telodrach provides the city’s garrison, and hosts a number of ships of the Imperial Navy, ready to defend the city from attack. Truly, there are countless sights to see in Anvil, and, possibly sometime in the next year or two, Anvil will get a public release so you can check it out for yourself!
