Nikolaj Orloff plays Scarlatti and Scriabin on Ampico

Nikolaj Orloff (or Nicolas or Nikolai) (1892-1964) was a once highly-regarded but now largely forgotten Russian concert pianist. He made relatively few recordings, among which are several 1920s classical Ampico reproducing piano rolls early in his career. Here he performs two pieces by Domenico Scarlatti and one by Alexander Scriabin, all combined with a Brahms rhapsody on a large Ampico B roll # 100345.
