#HelpUkraineSong - Join a HUGE global Eurovision moment in solidarity with Ukraine
At 12pm on Eurovision final day, Saturday 13th May, we are asking everyone to sing your version of the Beatles ‘With A Little Help From My Friends.’
And upload it to #HelpUkraineSong
In May 2023 Liverpool is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest. The eyes of the World will be on the UK, but it is not OUR Eurovision Song Contest.
For that week in May, we are Ukraine.
We are doing this because the real hosts, Ukraine, can not.
This is a one-off opportunity to take a stand; a moment of international protest - to show show solidarity with the Ukraine and a global call for peace.
Eurovision is all about uniting diverse people & nations through music, SO LET’S CREATE A POWERFUL MOMENT.
Across the UK and internationally, our partner organisations are planning physical flash mob moments which you can get involved with.
Museums, art galleries, local councils, retailers, theatres and community hubs are all getting on board, bringing in musicians, artists, dancers – both known and unknown.
Anyone can take part and we want everybody to join in – however you like.
You don’t need to be able to sing or dance, just have a go!
Throw a Eurovision party, dress and decorate in Ukraine colours - and join in this incredible moment!
We’re calling the public, schools, universities, hospitals, care homes, businesses, dance troupes, orchestras and choirs… and people at home to do this as a huge moment of solidarity.
